Dr Chathurika Karunaratne

MBBS, FRACGP, Diploma in Child Health, Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor and GP

Dr Chathurika Karunaratne, also known as Dr CK, is a fellow GP with a special interest in skin cancer management. He specialises in comprehensive full-body skin checks, managing skin cancers medically and surgically. He is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor at Skin Cancer College of Australasia who is able to manage most skin cancers in GP surgery.

Dr CK Graduated in 2005 from the University of Colombo and went on to work in the fields of Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine before he started his GP career in 2015. He attained a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney in 2015 and received his Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019. 

Apart from enjoying all aspects of General Practice, he is capable of inserting and removing Implanon. 

Dr CK loves playing cricket, bike riding, sightseeing, travelling, meditating, watching movies and just spending time with his wife and two children.
