BBiomedSc, MBBS, FRACGP, DCH.

Dr Kate Kalloniatis completed an MBBS at the Australian National University (ANU) in 2008. She started her career at Ballarat Base Hospital before working as an Aviation Medical Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). Whilst posted to the Northern Territory, she left the RAAF, for a role in a remote Aboriginal Medical Service. Kate really enjoyed this experience and had the privilege of working in a number of remote communities in the Northern Territory and Western Australia. Over the last few years, she has been based in Newcastle working at Awabakal, the local Aboriginal Medical Service.

Kate is excited to be returning to Canberra to work at a general practice with a strong family and community focus. She enjoys all areas of general practice, but is particularly interested in paediatrics, women’s health and caring for patients with chronic conditions. She is a mother of two young boys and enjoys cooking and outdoor adventures with her family.
