Please be aware that in line with ACT Health requirements, face masks are now required when visiting the practice.
People that have undertaken International travel in the past 14-21 days, OR have visited a COVID-Exposure site as outlined by ACT Health OR have had contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in that period AND are experiencing fever, or acute respiratory infection (e.g. shortness of breath or cough) with or without fever may have contracted the disease.
If this is the case, please PHONE your GP, nearest Emergency Department or the HealthDirect helpline on 1800 022 222. It is important to notify them of your complete travel history and current symptoms, to ensure you are receiving accurate advice. This may include presenting at an Emergency department for testing, isolation and treatment in a hospital.
Do not visit your GP, until after you have phoned them, because you may place other patients at risk .
Please also avoid crowded places and public transport.
